Damian Fraser founded Miranda Partners in 2018 after serving as the Managing Director of UBS in Mexico from 2011 to 2018. Before that, he was the Head of Equities and Research for Latin America at UBS since 1998. At the beginning of his career, Damian was a journalist at The Economist (economic correspondent) and the Financial Times (head of the Mexico bureau). He holds a CFA and a Master’s in Public Administration from Harvard University and a Bachelor’s in Economics and Philosophy from Oxford University. He has written several articles and essays on FinTechs, SOFIPOs, regulated banks, and their opportunities and challenges in Mexico.
Daniela studied Applied Mathematics at ITAM. She initially joined Miranda Partners as an Investor Relations and ESG intern. Before rejoining the firm, she worked as a research assistant at Seele Neuroscience and as a research associate at the Instituto de Investigaciones Biomédicas at UNAM, where she developed and analyzed mathematical models.
Ricardo is a Financial Management student at Tecnológico de Monterrey, pursuing a double specialization in Corporate Financing through Investment Banking and Investment Fund Management. He has gained valuable experience working as a Business Developer at a startup in Mexico City, where he focused on identifying new business opportunities to create value in the company’s core operations and conducting feasibility studies.
Nathan is pursuing dual bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Law. He has experience in economic and financial analysis, with a focus on monetary policy in Mexico. He has also worked as a research assistant on a study examining the impact of remittances on state and municipal GDP.
Graduated in International Relations from Tecnológico de Monterrey and holds a Master’s degree in International Cooperation for Development from Instituto Mora.
With a professional career focused on sustainable development and climate change, she has experience in non-governmental organizations such as Iniciativa Climática de México and the Mexican Center for Environmental Law (CEMDA). She has worked as a climate policy consultant for the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and, in 2019, completed an internship at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). She served as Deputy Director of Climate Transparency at the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources from 2020 to 2021.
She has collaborated as a reviewer for international reports, including the Climate Transparency Report (2021, 2022, 2023) and the Emissions Gap Report (2022, 2023), among others.
Andrea is passionate about finance and its impact on ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) issues. She is currently pursuing a degree in Financial Management at Universidad Anáhuac México Campus Sur, with a minor in Environmental Management from the Faculty of Engineering. She has complemented her education with a diploma in Strategic Planning from the same university and has taken several courses focused on Sustainable Finance. Currently, she is in the process of establishing her own volunteer organization to contribute to the well-being of Mexican communities through projects that address social and environmental challenges.
